EMECO Data Maps
Coming soon:
The ability to create user defined data maps from multi-platform, multi-parameter, multi-national data.
The example below shows what a map of chlorophyll in the North Sea might look when created from national marine monitoring data, satellites, and FerryBoxes.
This example is NOT based on real data, but uses the OSPAR defined areas as a framework.
The map also shows useful statistics, such as standard deviation and a measure of confidence in the values.
This type of map could be used for other parameters, such as temperature and descriptors of "good environmental status (GES)".
