The Integrated Coastal Observation Network (ICON) aims to consolidate, expand, and integrate GKSS monitoring programmes operating in the Southern German Bight in order to document and describe environmental state and changes.

Oyster Grounds SmartBuoy
The Netherlands-UK SmartBuoy programme is a collaboration between the Dutch Rijkswaterstaat and Deltares laboratory (NL) and Cefas (UK) and is a prime example of what EMECO can achieve. A SmartBuoy is currently sited on the Dutch Oystergrounds in the central North Sea and is jointly supported by both partners.
